Event Registration

By registering for the Visitor Use Management Training, I confirm that I have read, understand, and consent to the terms of this agreement:

1. I voluntarily agree to participate in the Visitor Use Management Training sponsored by the Society of Outdoor Recreation Professionals. I recognize that the Society of Outdoor Recreation Professionals has not undertaken any duty or responsibility for my safety and I agree to assume the full responsibility for all risk of bodily injury, death, disability, and property damage as a result of participating in the Visitor Use Management Training. I hereby state that I understand the risks involved in participating in the Visitor Use Management Training and willingly and voluntarily accept these risks. I hereby surrender any right to seek reimbursement from the Society of Outdoor Recreation Professionals and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers and other agents for injury sustained and liability incurred during my participation in the activity described above. I warrant that I am not relying on any oral representations, statements or inducement apart from the statements made on this form.

2. The Society of Outdoor Recreation Professionals is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable conference experience for all participants. As a Visitor Use Management Training participant, I understand that I am expected to show respect for everyone attending the conference, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, ability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, and/or religion (or lack thereof).

3. Registration and attendance at Visitor Use Management Training constitutes an agreement by the participant for use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the participant’s image or voice in photographs, videos and electronic reproductions of such events and activities by the Society of Outdoor Recreation Professionals.
